Bolton

Crew sizes will be reduced in Bolton as they will across the whole brigade and this raises concerns around the safety of both firefighters and public. Rumworth which is considered a high risk ward will have to waiting longer for a fire engine as will Westhoughton South which is considered low risk.

buryslideBury borough will see a 20% reduction in daytime fire engines and a 40% reduction in night time fire engines.  76% of all wards in Bury borough will have to wait longer for a fire engine to arrive, this includes 75% of the high risk wards.

Ashton and Staylbridge will alternate between one and two fire engines. 95% of Tameside's wards will have to wait longer for a fire engine this includes the two high risk wards of St Peters and Stalybridge North.

Trafford is one of the big losers in this plan, there will be a 40% reduction in fire engines. 95% of  all wards within Trafford will have to wait longer for a fire engine, this includes 7 high risk wards. The only very high risk ward will also have to wait longer for a fire engine.
