We the undersigned would like to express our concern at the proposed operational plan contained within the Corporate Plan 2012-2015.

The proposed further cuts in Greater Manchester can only be bad news for the public and the firefighters of Greater Manchester. The increase in the time it will take for fire engines to arrive at incidents, reduction in the number of fire engines and the reduction in the size of crews. This must increase the risk for those living and working in the county.

We would encourage the Fire Authority not to endorse this plan.
