Rochdale

rochdaleslide

Rochdale takes a big hit in these proposals, there is a 16% reduction in day time fire engines and a 33% reduction in night time fire engines. 85% of all wards in the borough will have to wait longer for a fire engine. All six high risk wards will wait longer for an engines.

To compound the cuts in Rochdale adjacent boroughs of Bury and Oldham are also hit by cuts, this will mean that even a minor incident could strip fire cover and lead to further delays in assisting fire engines already committed. Further incidents could be seriously affected.
