Tameside

tamesideslide

Tameside will see a 17% reduction in available fire engines in both day and night time. Ashton and Staylbridge will alternate between one and two fire engines. 95% of Tameside's wards will have to wait longer for a fire engine this includes the two high risk wards of St Peters and Stalybridge North.

Tameside will like many other areas will become served by nearly all one fire engine stations add to this reductions at neighboring boroughs of Oldham and Stockport and a single incident could strip swathes of this area of fire engines. The reduced crewing arrangements would also give rise to safety fears for both crews and public.

Contact your MPs & Councilors to express your concerns about the reductiog in service you will receive if this plan in approved.
