Oldham

oldhamslideOldham borough is hit by a 20% night time reduction in fire engines. The borough will also see 60% of the wards have to wait longer for a fire engine arrive, three of these wards are considered to be high risk.

Crew sizes will be reduced which gives rise to safety fears for both crews and public alike. With adjacent boroughs  Rochdale and Tameside being affected by cuts one incident could quiet easily strip this part of the brigade of fire engines.
