Trafford

Trafford is one of the big losers in this plan, there will be a 40% reduction in fire engines. 95% of  all wards within Trafford will have to wait longer for a fire engine, this includes 7 high risk wards. The only very high risk ward will also have to wait longer for a fire engine.

To compound these cuts Manchester will also see cuts and they could be where support would of come from quickest. These cuts will leave large areas served by fewer fire engines meaning even a small incident will expose areas to greater risk due to reduced resilience within the brigade.
