Wigan

wiganslide

Wigan borough will see it's number of fire engines reduced by 17% each night time. 57% of all wards will have to wait longer for a fire engine this includes the only 2 wards that are considered high risk.

With these reductions 75% of Wigan borough fire stations will become one fire engine stations. This means even a small incident could strip the largest area of the county of fire cover. The reductions across the county could see increasingly longer waits for support as adjacent boroughs have also been subject to similar cuts.
