Stockport

stockportslide

Stockport will see a 17% reduction in day time fire engines. The night time availability will stay the same as it is at present but they will be distributed differently. 66% of the wards will have to wait longer for a fire engine this includes the only very high risk ward Brinnington & Central.

The reductions in Tameside and Manchester must surely put pressure on Stockport's resources and increase the time support would take to arrive. The reduction in crew size at Whitehill gives rise to crew and public safety concerns.
